How booking a Grand Canyon trip works

1 · Check which rim the trip goes to

The South Rim is the national park and takes about 90% of its visitors. The West Rim and the Skywalk are on Hualapai tribal land outside the park, with their own tickets. Tours from Las Vegas go to either, and the listing title does not always say which.

2 · Check what entry is included

National park entry is a 7-day pass, card only. Non-US residents aged 16 and over pay an extra $100 per person at Grand Canyon National Park, including on commercial tours, unless they hold an annual or America the Beautiful pass.

3 · Compare time at the rim, not the length of the day

A day trip from Las Vegas spends most of its hours on the road. Check how long the listing gives you at the viewpoints, and whether a flight, the Skywalk or a meal is in the price or extra.
